Juvenile Services

This program accepts youth up to age 17 who are substance abusing, and in need of intervention, assessment and stabilization in a secure, short-term residential setting.

The second of HSA’s new treatment services is the Adolescent Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment program. Services are available to any Orange County youth with moderate substance abuse problems.  Typical length of counseling is 6 months, however, the length of stay is individualized based upon each client’s needs. 

These programs provides provide a wide variety of services that enable youth to obtain access to needed medical, social, educational, mental health and other support services.   

Comprehensive Assessment Program (CAP)

The CAP facilitates a Comprehensive Behavioral Health Assessment (CBHA).   A CBHA is an in-depth and detailed assessment of the child’s emotional, social, behavioral and developmental functioning within the home, school and community. 

Rivendell Academy offers an innovative educational program for students in grades 6-12.  The mission of Rivendell Academy is to provide an individualized, supportive, technology-rich learning environment in which every student can succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.  

The goal of the HSA’s dependency case management program is to ensure the safety and well-being of children in an environment that fosters a healthy, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development.   

The Stars Prevention Program is a universal prevention program intended to target middle-school students who have not yet developed drug abuse problems and to prevent the early stages of drug abuse by impacting risk factors associated with drug abuse. 

Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities (TASC) - Juvenile Program

These programs provide assessment, referral and case management services for juveniles involved in the criminal justice system that are also substance abusing and/or suffering from mental health problems.
