Federally funded, State licensed Day Treatment program serving juvenile offenders (detained or committed) ages 12-17 who have a co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorder. The program offers evidence based treatment systems developed by Dartmouth Medical School, the Hazelton Co-occurring Disorders Program (CDP) model which combines motivational enhancement therapy (MET), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and Twelve Step facilitation (TSF).
All clients will receive a psychiatric evaluation and medical management if clinically appropriate. The youth may receive services for up to four months. All services are provided at no cost to the family. Clients are screened for suitability based upon interview, record review and psychometric testing.
