The Domestic Violence Intervention program is
operated by HSA under contract to the State of Florida, Department
of Children and Families (DCF). Located at the Polk Juvenile
Assessment Center, the program serves youth from Polk, Highlands
and Hardee Counties who are charged with a domestic violence
offense. Services include assessment, in-home intervention, case
management and referral. The goal is to reduce violence in the
home and interrupt the predictive relationship between domestic
and substance abuse. Services are M-F, 8 AM - 8 PM, and as needed.
