Services: Seminole Drug Court Case Management Program is one facet of the Seminole County Drug Court Team. Case Management provides the initial assessment to determine what modality is needed for the participant. Once engaged in treatment, the case manager follows assigned clients throughout the drug court process.
Core services offered by the case managers include:
Screening Services,
Recommendation and Referral to Services,
Case Management Services.
The Seminole Drug Court Case Management Program coordinates intervention and other needed services through a comprehensive case management system. The program seeks to accomplish the following objectives: (a) make clients aware of the health risks involved with abusing illicit substances, (b) coordinate a plan of action the client can follow that will positively impact the client’s life, (c) link clients to appropriate treatment services, (d) empower clients to become drug free.
Those clients needing substance abuse and/or mental health treatment are offered assistance based on available treatment capacity, case management availability, and the client’s willingness to enter treatment. Case management services will be provided for an average of 12 months, or for the duration of treatment phases. The case manager will participate in staffings regarding client progress.
